High School Students

If you're still in high school and you're interested in becoming an Army officer through ROTC at Arizona State University, we highly encourage you to apply for the four year national ROTC scholarship. If you missed the deadline to apply for the national scholarship, all you have to do to start the program is sign up for MIS 101 your first fall semester of college. You can compete for campus based scholarships once you're already in the program. Learn more by visiting the High School Students page.

College Students

If you're already a student at ASU, you can start the program by taking one of our basic 100/200 level courses. If you have at least two or more years remaining toward your undergraduate degree, but not enough time to complete the basic courses, you may be able to attend Basic Camp during the summer, which will enable you to advance to the 300 and 400-level MIS courses. Learn more by visiting our College Students page.

  • Cadet Initial Entry Training (Basic Camp): This course is for those college students who come to us late and want to complete Army ROTC training in two years. To qualify, you must complete a 32-day training program at Fort Knox, Kentucky, over the summer before your junior year. Ask our Recruiting Operations Officer for more information.

National Guard/Reserve

The Simultaneous Membership Program allows you to attend Army ROTC and serve in the U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard at the same time. It gives you an opportunity for additional training and experience. Cadets serve as Officer trainees in the Reserve or National Guard while completing college. You can earn Reserve/Guard pay and benefits in addition to your Army ROTC allowances.
